Nintendo will be hosting a Pokémon X and Y developer roundtable at the 2013 E3.
Developer representatives from Game Freak and The Pokémon Company will be sharing details about the next generation in Pokémon games, Pokémon X and Y. The event will be held on Tuesday June 11, a few hours after the E3 Nintendo Direct Presentation. Nintendo is known for hosting developer roundtables at E3, though rarely focus on a single game. The panelists include the president and CEO of The Pokémon Company, and a Game Freak director.
This doesn’t come as too much of a surprise as Nintendo held a special Nintendo Direct earlier this year, to announce Pokémon X and Y, coming worldwide October 2013. Since this time, they have held numerous Nintendo Directs focusing on WiiU and 3DS titles as well as system updates. Nintendo have announced that they will also be holding a global edition of Nintendo Direct, providing updates from future WiiU games, and will streamed from the Nintendo Direct Website at midnight for Australian viewers between Tuesday June 11, and Wednesday June 12 (AEST).
The Pokémon roundtable will not be streamed, but there will be announcements from various news sites, so stay tuned as we keep Australian fans up to date!
